At around 7.50pm on Friday 30 September 2022, emergency services were called to a hotel on Mount Druitt Road, Mount Druitt, after reports of a fight. During the scuffle, a 48-year-old woman tried to leave when a man threw a bar stool, hitting her in the back of the head, causing her to cut. Officers attached to the Mount Druitt Police District Command attended and began an investigation. Three men - aged 35, 42 and 45 - have been charged in connection with the fight. All of them are still in court. As part of their ongoing investigation, the police have released photographs of a man they believe may be able to assist in their investigation. The man is described as being Pacific Islander/Maori, large build, black hair with a rat's tail wearing a high visibility orange work shirt, blue work pants and brown work boots.
